In reply to &c I beg to say that I consider Mr MD well qualified, both // believe Mr. MD to be well qualified both as to character, itelligence talent , & political position, for the undertaking he has in view. As a representative Irishman, he will be in a position able , as far as I can judge, to command extraordinary(?) considerable support in more than one way under a part(?) of among his countrymen; among whom(?) he has very extensive connections among them; and personally, I believe him to be strictly honorable.
