My dear Engels,

I duly recd  Nicht überlieferter Brief von Engels an A. Knowles, vor 20.2.1871.
Schließen your last letter, and yesterday I sent off to your address the pieces as per enclosed Invoice—

You will see that the price is reduced from 5 ¼. per yd to 5. in consequence of the cloth not being full length pieces—which thought you would not care in the least for.—

I have never seen our friend Moore since he visited you—to ask him about your doings in Xmas week. | I can fancy you beeing very jolly. I am glad to say that business is looking very much better here during this last month, and promises well for producers—but however I cannot write so long a letter to-day as I would wish—but will write again very shortly.

I am glad to say Norman seems to look better with matrimony (he might never have had it before) You shall hear again from me in a few days. With my kindest regards to Missus and yourself
