Dear Sir,

Yesterday I send to you Major John Kostecki, friend of Garibaldi, late agent, secretary, of Central Committee in Warshau and exSecretary Polish Comittee in London. He will joind Internat. society and I can recomended him as very active and practical man. You can employed him for sending to Poland as agent constructor Internationale society. At same time I have mentioned about Mr Fontaine son of  Jules Léon Fontaine.
Schließen well known member of the commune.—His father in prison, he is destitute, if You will give him some employment | I feel much much obliged, and I will send to You for his carefuly examination. About hundred my countryman will joined Intern. Society but before definitive decision, I expected to have interviev with You and Mr Wrublewski; And soon as General Rules will be printed, I shall be glad to have about 50 French & Engl. for distribution between our society.
