I have received a dozen of the resolutions of the general council for which I am much obliged

Enclosed is 3/6 in stamps for the refugee fund which please acknowledge—there is also 3/– for the admission payment of three members to the international the names are below.—I have | not done anything in the formation of a branch here till last Tuesday Nov 7 as the attention of our friends was taken up with the nine hours movement to aid which there was a committee at work; but last Tuesday a few of us met and organized we intend about ten members and agreed to pay not less than 1/6 per per year per member but shall get | them as far as we can to pay a small weekly amount, as they pay up 1 Schilling.
Schließen /– each I shall remit it with their names. Some of those who are friendly to us are on the nine hours committee and will get them to join us if possible when that question is settled and I went to a meeting of the committee a week or two ago to urge them to do so, we shall also try to induce | the trade societies to join together with us.(?)
