I hope Jung will come. The balance sheet can be put in proper form here & I wish that the account book be | over, so that every body may see with his own eyes how we stand.
For the information of such as have no inclination to wait till Tuesday night before the return I may mention that the Goverment Mail boat goes twice a day from Ostend to Dover. The Expense, second class, is 10 francs, & from Brussels to Ostend – fast train – 3 fr. Slow train 2½ fr.
I have engaged the place whence I date this letter for my lodging next week, it is only a few steps from the Swans Hotel, if any thing is to be sent to me it may be directed there.
The journey has shaken me a good deal, I became so exhausted & giddy yesterday morning that I could not have gone any farther if I had wished.
I am all right this morning.
Yours faithfully
