which has been forwarded to me here. I am sorry & ashamed to be obliged to confess that I do not | know German. I have long been intending to learn it & your book I hope will supply the final stimulus needed, for I perceive by the notes that it | is full of interesting matter & I gather that the diseases of Society appear to you in the same light as they do to me. Whether we should agree on | the remedy I do not know & probably it is too much to expect. But when the world generally so persistently ignores the disease there must be a wide field for our cooperation.

Believe me
yours truly
