You must excuse the liberty I am taking in writing to you but I should feel obliged, if you would remit to me the £5 you kindly promised towards the liquidation of the debt owing to our Hon. Treasurer of the Albert Club; as Chairman of the Committee I promised to collect these donations with the assistance of the Steward, and as our next meeting is on Wednesday, I hope to be in a position to hand over the whole amount promised £150 that evening as I have now only three items to collect. —
