Soweit aus der Fotokopie zu ersehen ist, besteht der Brief aus einem Bogen weißem Papier. Dakyns hat die ersten zwei Seiten vollständig beschrieben, die dritte und vierte Seite sind leer. Schreibmaterial: schwarze Tinte.

The weather is rough and wild: lowering clouds & driving storms of rain or scanty snow flakes swap over the hills; but to day the sun shines out at intervals.
