                <p rend="MBTextOhneEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">As you perhaps already are
                    aware of, we have at here undertaken the publication of a weekly paper <bibl type="periodika" corresp="">“Socialisten“</bibl> to act for the
                    propagation of the social doctrines<supplied cert="high">.</supplied> The
                    undertaken was soon seen to be begun in due time and the journal has already
                    gained more than 3000 subscribers and its continuation is thus secured.</p>
                <p rend="MBTextMitEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">It was at the same time our
                    purpose to form a society and had we to that end prepared a danish edition of
                    the <expan resp="editor" sameAs="dottet_underline">statu<ex>t</ex>es</expan> of
                        <orgName ref="https://megadigital.bbaw.de/M0004811 https://d-nb.info/gnd/503624-0">Internationale</orgName>.</p>
                <p rend="MBTextMitEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">The formation of the danish
                    society succe<ex>e</ex>ded so well, that the members already amount more than
                    700 and several greater corporations will soon join us.</p>
                <p rend="MBTextMitEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">The journal has as we
                    expected met very <pb/> much opposition in the press, but it is evident,
                    that there is a so good field in Denmark for the operations of Internationale as
                    anywhere else.</p>
                <p rend="MBTextMitEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">If our undertaken is pursued
                    with
                    might and main, we may warrant, that we united with the
                    radical peasantry (Bondepartiet) will be able to have the majority by the next
                    voting for the Rigsdag, and have we already discussed this matter with the most
                    importants of the leaders, and do we expect a good result.</p>
                <p rend="MBTextMitEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">We think that it should be
                    more favorable for the Internationale Association, meanwhile to be attentive to
                    the minor states as Denmark, as it here would be able to be more vigorous and
                    finely to be master of the situation. We should not apply to the administration
                    if we had not a <choice>
                        <sic>reel</sic>
                        <corr cert="high">real</corr>
                    </choice> result to show—a such is now exposed, and we consider it to be our
                    duty to enquire about if the administration will please to give us instructions.
                    <pb/> Specially we should much like to se<ex>e</ex> Mr. <persName ref="https://megadigital.bbaw.de/M0004808">J. Cohn</persName> here. Our pecuniary affairs are so far satisfying. The
                    small capitals we could dispose of have surely been spent to establish the
                    journal, but the incomes are now sufficient to give us a compensation for the
                    time we offer on this affair.</p>
                <p rend="MBTextMitEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">A different case is it, if
                    we in the first time shall hope to have some influence on the government. In
                    that case there must be spent so much money that we cannot manage it.</p>
                <p rend="MBTextMitEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">It will then be of great
                    importance, if the direction would <choice>
                        <sic>adwance</sic>
                        <corr cert="high">advance</corr>
                    </choice> us with money as loan or gift, that we might be able to act, and if
                    possible point out trustworthy men at here or send such to assist us with <choice>
                        <sic>adwice</sic>
                        <corr cert="high">advice</corr>
                    </choice> and assistance.</p>
                <p rend="MBTextMitEinzug" style="text-align: justify; ">How much money the direction
                    will spent on this matter must depend upon of which consequence the direction
                    might think it to be in this country to sit at the helm, for that this will be
                    the case in above mentioned supposition, we will <pb/>
                    guaranty how strange it in the latter must have
                    appeared.</p>
